I uploaded the scanned handwritten notes for Lectures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. I will continue to upload my scanned handwritten lecture notes as they become available. I apologize for my handwriting!

Lecture 9 was reposted as the wrong file was posted before.

I will be out of town on Thursday October 6. We will make up this lecture the following week on Wednesday October 12 at 2 pm in Rm 276 Loomis Lab (our regular lecture room). Also we will not have office hours on Wednesday October 5.

The Final Exam of Physics 598 TPH will be on Thursday December 15 at 9 am in Rm 3110 ESB. Each student will have 15 minutes to give a powerpoint-style oral presentation. We should be done by 1 pm. remember that this is a Final Exam and so attendance is obligatory! The Term Paper and the Presentation Files are due on Wednesday December 14 at 9 pm US Central Time. I will have the presentations loaded on my laptop. I will also be running the zoom link. Students that need to give a remote presentation need to contact me no later than Wednesday December 15 at 12 noon US Central Time so I can arrange the schedule. Likewise if any student that has a conflict with another exam should also contact me before Wednesday December 15 at 12 noon US Central Time so I can arrange the schedule.
